Executing The Vision: Identifying The What and The How

Marc Ebinger, the CEO of Crükus Marketing Agency and host of the Let's Talk Business podcast, and Business Coach Heather Boehme talk about how a company may effectively carry out its vision through its systems and processes.

Marc:

I combine systems and processes, I think of them interchangeably.


Heather:

I think of it as the what and the how. The system is the what, and the process is the how.


Marc:

Okay. Because it's like a therapy session. I like business therapy. That's what you should call it. We're doing business therapy.


Heather:

I'm always worried about calling it a business therapy because I don't wanna be called a therapist.


Marc:

You probably need a Ph.D. or something we call a therapist.


Heather:

I might get hit by some kind of regulation if I start calling myself that.


Marc:

I guess having what my services are, give me some direction on this question...


Heather:

I think there are the people and you've got the leverage through the people's time. But what are some of the things that you have to implement? 'Cause you've got the people, but,


Marc:

What are they doing?


Heather:

Yeah. Systems and processes, the what and the how of what? How they're executing your vision, I guess I would call it.
